Weekend cherrying thread ... post your bargains!

It's snowing here in central Ohio, that's right, snow on April 24. Seems like a good day to be cruising for coins. If you've nabbed a good one this weekend, and I expect this post to explode as eBay lots end tonight, chip in. I'll start it out.

I think I'm looking at what could be sweet rainbow toners on this proof set. Price: $10.

Bought this coin for VF money. It will be submitted. 34-S's are terrible struck, and are easy to misgrade. This coin has enough luster I think it has a chance to holder AU-50. Who knows. image Its an easy XF-45.

I got this one for $78 including shipping. I'm hoping it looks better in hand. This is the sellers picture.

I bought this morgan on ebay, and received it in the mail yesterday. I know it's in an acg slab ( image ), but I really felt like taking a flyer on it. The coin is spectacular!! It's an EASY 65, and has beautiful prooflike fields on both sides..... image
I know some will want to throw a few flames my way for possibly encouraging newbies to buy bad plastic...... but it was a great deal for $35.....

Some day soon I will crack it out!!! image

In spite of what some people say I've seen some good coins for the money in ACG slabs. If I can buy an AU coin for XF money I don't care if the slab does say MS65. The saying "buy the coin not the holder" works both ways.

I also picked up a NICE 1963 Mint set yesterday at the coin store for $13 with what I believe is a MS67 Franklin. I dont know if its worth anything but I liked it image

    Edited to add the grade.
  • I just picked this off the flea bay for a Jackson + 1 Washington and 2 Lincoln's.
