Franklin Proof Guys- Is this a DCAM?

I know it is hard to tell from a pix, but look at the contrast on this half! 56 proof set

The seller has all good reviews except for one so-so feedback from a NARUED user. I remember buying something from this seller a long time ago, but I can't remember what it was. Anybody here had any experience with this seller??

Not DCAM, dont even think its a CAM.

IMO - not a dcam. But I think it has a great shot at cameo.

Common cameo date - but still a nice find - especially if you didn't pay a premium.

Also looks like a Type 2 - make sure you double check that it is not a Type 1. If a Type 1 - it would be worth big money in cameo.

I think it's a Type II

If you right click on the pic and zoom in you can see the detail in the wings.

It may be a CAM. The Washington photo image looks heavily white balanced, so the Franklin may have more contrast than usual. May be a Cam.

Looks like the half has some contrast, but pics sometimes like different than the actual coin, so hard to tell if CAM of not without seeing the coin in person. Even it were a CAM, the other imporatn question is, is it hairlined. Unless the coin grades at least PR67CAM, preferably at least PR68CAM, it would not be worth submitting.

Note the coins are not in the original mint packaging. It is common for people to indavertantly hairline these proofs when they remove them from the mint packaging and put them into the plastic holders.

Cameo obverse, reverse looks to be just short. Type 2. Nothing to get excited about. Also, Foodude brings up a VERY important point. Sets moved to aftermarket holders are very prone to severe hairlining, and that is not something that will show up in an image.

The obverse looks cam, but I also think that the reverse is looks too weak..... I would pass........

No shot whatsoever @ DCAM. It's tricky business buying raw proofs based on photos when your trying to get a cam or dcam. Coins with decent mirrors often appear in photos to have much more contrast than they actually do in hand. I'm not saying its intentional (I don't know the seller) but just look at the color of the plastic holder in the 5 auction photo pictures. The holder appears to have at least 3 different colors of white in the various photos. That tells you clearly, that there are 'lighting' issues going on with the photography. The images are not to be trusted IMO.
