If it was made in San Francisco in 1903 and they are proof they must be...

a 1903-S Philippine proof set! Todays nice buy! a 1/2C, 5C, 10C, 20C, and 50C for $100! A trip to NCS is in order for these guys!

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

Are you sure that's from SF? All the phillipine coins I've seen from the early 1900s have the S MM.
<< <i>Nice pickup Marty. I hope that's not corrosion on the top of that five centavos.

Toning, same on the 50C, and yes they were made in SF.

As long as we aint taken over by a bunch of Marty's
Nice Philippine coins Marty, could you explain why you'll be sending these to NCS? I'm pretty newbie to all this still, so I don't see why these need curating, if anything I would've thought with your experience an Acetone bath would be all that's needed.
Is JustHavingFun going to have to worry about you competing with his 1903 Philippine Proof set?
Need more $$$ for coins?
I particularly like the 20c.
<< <i>How much longer til you start collectin Monopoly Money and Chuck E. Cheese tokens?

They have some haze and the 50C has some FUGLY toning spots. I don't think JHF has anything to worry about, I'm missing the Peso and the 5C.
