Nice pickup Marty. I hope that's not corrosion on the top of that five centavos.

Are you sure that's from SF? All the phillipine coins I've seen from the early 1900s have the S MM.

Toning, same on the 50C, and yes they were made in SF.

  • How much longer til you start collectin Monopoly Money and Chuck E. Cheese tokens?

Nice Philippine coins Marty, could you explain why you'll be sending these to NCS? I'm pretty newbie to all this still, so I don't see why these need curating, if anything I would've thought with your experience an Acetone bath would be all that's needed.

Varieties are the spice of a Type Set.

    Need more $$$ for coins?
  • That sounds like a bargain! I saw a set for $300 but it had the Peso (dollar sized coin) and all silver coins were severely cleaned. I like the proof copper! I'd love to buy nicely toned proof copper 1903s for my wife. I think these proof coins are undervalued!

They have some haze and the 50C has some FUGLY toning spots. I don't think JHF has anything to worry about, I'm missing the Peso and the 5C.
