I like Will. He's a fellow Dead Head. This is a tough place and not suitable for everyone. A thick skin and a sense of humor really help one get along.
I didn't wish to respond, but the nastiness contained here and in numerous threads all over this board have forced my hand. You can say whatever you like, it isnt going to hurt my feelings. My self worth comes from within, and not from others telling me how good I am. There are just so many nasty, mean spirited, pile on, individuals on here that it is just no fun. The gang mentality has been pointed out by sever individuals in the last few months, and all they get is ganged up on. There are also many nice, friendly and helpful people here, but alas a minority. So say what you'ld like, if it makes you feel better to harsh on others. Good luck with that.

Will, I collect moderns. I'm working on a set of MS Ikes now. I just did not have answers to any of your questions. I also have all of the Grateful Dead studio "rubbish" you mentioned. Well, there you go. We don`t respond well to a pity party. It has hit a nerve with you or you wouldn`t have a goodbye thread with a follow-up post. I`ve been " toasted " a few times but learned to go with the flow around here. I thought about leaving a few times and have left for brief periods. But I know I get back what I dish out and I don`t take it too personnally because I made the first strike and getting back what I deserve. People here already know what I think about the Open Forum and isn`t a secret. It usually is alot of muck. But, it isn`t a specific forum like the other forums so anything goes for the most part.
There is nothing that I hate more than a whiney drama-queen foot-stomping "you won't have me to kick around amymore" post.
A note to any others reading this and thinking they too would like to start a "I'm leaving" post to guage how much people love them and wish they would stay. Just go, if somebody notices your gone they'll PM you to ask why, then maybe you can get the "no, please don't go" your after. I don't mean to sound harsh, but really, think about it. If your leaving why do you feel the need to announce it. This is a public coin forum on the internet for pete's sake, not a support group. People come and go all the time. Big deal.

As someone with a graduate degree in Organizational Psychology myself, I see this as nothing more than a poorly formed after-thought of an excuse to try to justify your obvious cry for attention (Which seems to happen on a regular basis in recent times). What boggles me, though, (well, actually, it doesn't boggle me at all, I can tell you why a person in your position would do it, just not give rational reasoning for it) is why you continue to persist with the pity posts and whatnot in a forum where the majority of your peer's disdain towards you grow with each one?

I have never been flamed on this board or any board I have been on. I don't understand why anyone would flame another. I dont offer my opinions just facts. Maybe that is why I have not been flamed.
And if I do get flamed who cares! I dont. I would just leave or igore the ignorant SOB!

On my Yankees forum, Yankee fans have been flaming each other for months (RJ vs. Beltran arguments). It's been downright ugly.
