Washington Quarters

Is there a reference book on this series? Redbook doesn't mention one ...only state quarters.

Thanks for the info.

CONECA has a series of books by James Wiles, each covers a fairly short range of dates.

John Feigenbaum ( David Lawrence Rare Coin ) wrote the book "A Guide To Washington Quarters".

It's helpful but I think the data is from 1990-91. I'd love to see an updated edition. Maybe when the State quarters are done.

This is a good book but practically ends with the silver issues.

CONECA has a pretty comprehensive list of doubled dies. Link

There is no reference for the clad issues and other clad varieties except a few are listed
in the RPM book and The CherryPicker's Guide.

John Wexler and Kevin Flynn put a book out a few years ago-"The Best of the Washington Quarter Doubled Dies"-that covers the copper-nickel doubled dies quite well (along with the better silver issues.) Check Stanton Books and Supplies-it may be available there.
