Is a seller running up the price if...
I was looking at a 2005 clad kennedy pf70 on ebay today and found that jmrc_inc has one in BIN for $149.00 but is also the top bidder on the other 2 for sale. Do you think he is trying to buy the others for resale or running up the other prices to sell his in BIN?
Thanks.

That seems pretty cheap. What grading service?

If they really own the coin they're selling, if they intend to honor any winning bids they may place on the other two coins and there's no shilling relationship between this person and the sellers of the other coins, then I don't see any evidence of "wrongdoing" in this case.

Ah, good catch. I didn't realize it was John Maben.

I believe he is legit and he has the coin in stock. Do you then think he is bidding on the other two coins for resale? I just thought it odd to see him the same high bidder on the 2 other same coins as the one he has in BIN. I'm not concerned about the price on the coins but this is the first time I've see this when looking for a coin. Thanks.
I know it is John Maben but I thought he would have the coins slabbed and not be buying other sellers coins for resale.
