They start 601? What's up with that? All my best coin start with 500,501,600 or 601. I thought that was express or show service or something.

The 500 series is shows. Anybody can get the 600 series. I've had 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 9 from submissions. The only ones I haven't had are 5 (shows) and 7 (dealer bulk).

    Ken,

Is the DDR '39 the one you got in the junk box for a buck?

    Kudos on the nickels, Ken!

Supersonic turnaround = Higher prices, ridiclously tight grading on some series and sticking it to faithful CC members, i.e., less demand, fewer submissions.

For some odd reason, my freebies were not even registered into their system until 03/17/2005. Yes, I submitted them in Baltimore.
PCGS Currency: HOF 2013, Best Low Ball Set 2009-2014, 2016, 2018. Appreciation Award 2015, Best Showcase 2018, Numerous others.

I guarantee that with their recent price/policy changes they aren't getting as many coins sent in....
I sent my grade guarantee coin back to them on Monday I think it was....late in the day.

I received my "We have your coin, here is your submission#" email today!

So, since coins used to set for days without being entered, and I am sure they haven't increased their employee count that much, I would bet that there is a HUGE drop in the submissions. If someone used to keep track of submission numbers and could tell how many were graded in a certain time period, and then compare that to now, I would wonder how consistent the numbers are?

Now, I just hope they are quick and I get compensated for that Piece of C##P Kennedy I bought that turned, and continued to turn, in the holder image
(Note....I don't hold PCGS responsible for not catching it initially as it looks to what many on the board have described as being dipped and not properly rinsed)
But, I am out a few hundred bucks on it and I didn't (wouldn't) try to resell it to anyone else!

Ken....cool for you on the 1939 and the 1950!!!! ESPECIALLY

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
