I have a dime and nickel from the same set. I'm going to send them in as well.
I'm not necessarily a big fan of NCS and don't like the general concept of what they do, but I'm not good @ dipping, so if they can take a somewhat hazy modern proof and may it look fantastic, I'm really not against that. Proofs just don't develop a nice original skin, unless its toned -- IMHO.

I've conserved hundreds of coins. This one went to NCS because this degree of mirror depth on an SMS coin is very, very delicate and subject to the emergence of mint frost when conserved - which dulls the contrast. For $18, I decided to let the pros handle this one.

No, that's the image from the auction where I picked it off for $35. It makes perfect sense that it only graded MS65CAM the first time with all the haze. That haze developed from being submitted in a bad flip.

For silver, it is mixed to somewhat positive.
For copper, suggest you don't do it.
I have only seen a couple of aluminum - but the outcome was very positive.
Gold -- looks too bright to me.
MS63 pre and post but paid for guarentee no drop from 63 after treatment
