Ebay SAE Purchases Disappointing
Within the last week or two, I have bought about 20 Silver Eagle Proofs and maybe 2 are as discribed. The rest are spotty, milky, or have some detraction or other that if I had seen them in a shop, I would have passed. It's too bad that there was no mention in the listing of the flaws or detractions. I consider omission marketing unethical. I would not sell a GPS as brilliant when it had fallen through the mud. Live and learn...and go to a shop!

Were these all from the same seller? It seems either one seller really stuck it to you, or you have had very bad luck buying Proof ASEs.
was just pondering the same question...just started a thread on online purchases.
By the way what type/brand of GPS do you sell?
billdauman,
I have all makes and models of GPS and marine electronics. Here is just a smattering of what I sell:

You should turn your PM (private message) function on. To do so, click on "profile" in the upper-right corner of the page. Scroll down until you see the option for "Allow private messages". Be sure the "on" option is checked. Change anything else you'd like on there then hit "update profile" at the bottom of the screen.
