Wee bit? I've found he is very overly optimistic on his opinion of the grades of his coins as well.

  • nobody sez he don't overgrade -or that he dosn't tweek the hell out of his photo's...................i'm telling you he is an honest man .
  • Take a pic of the coin and let her ride. If you have to use photoshop to really help to sell the coin then maybe the description in the ad should state what was done to the photo. It's is great that he offfers a return privilege. This is a good thing!!!

Yes, he's an honest guy. Yes, his photos capture his coins to their best look....Both can be true at the same time.

He consistently overgrades, but I've picked up a couple very cool toners from him that graded no problem.

I'll add that I've also brought from him, and one of the coins he graded MS64 got bagged for cleaning by PCGS. Cleaned or not I still like the coin and believe it's worth the purchase price. I returned one coin he listed as MS62 because in my opinion it was about an XF. I've looked at several of his auctions and bid on a few more, but I bid at about two - three grades below what he lists and have not won any lately. I do believe he is an honest man, but just a little overly optimistic about the coins he sells.
Who is General Failure, and why is he reading my hard drive?
