Coin Shops, Dealers Locations in the UPPER MIDWEST

On another thread out here tonight LONGACRE made it clear that dealers are here for different reasons to either help themselves or help others with their knowledge or other interesting facts. I have a different request of these dealers if they can help. I'm a road warrior(American Trucker) and like to frequent shops whenever I have an opportunity to find one that is accesible by an 18 wheeler. So many places out on the road have signs NO TRUCKS and is a reason that many times I haven't stopped at shops. I run Mostly from Minneapolis area to the Chicago to Davenport IA back to Minnesota. Usually run a weekly run and home on the weekends would like to here from any shop or dealers out here with locations and close parking areas willing to walk a ways if need be as My DR says I need the exercise which is also welcome.imageThe old ticker isn't as good as it used to be so walking is my excuse to get out and enjoy LIFE at it's best on my walksimage Thanks for any and all responses. image

WOW. That's a tuff problem. At least around the Chicago area. There are some great coin shops in the downtown area. There are coin shows almost every week. Hobby shops that deal with coins everywhere and there is a flea market on Manhien Road that has at least 4 ot 5 dealers pending a Saturday or Sunday. UNFORTUNATELY, no place to park an 18wheeler. Even the coin shows at places like the Rosemont Place has no place for a truck. There is a show in Itaska this Sunday at the Holiday Inn but not enough room for a truck in that parking lot. Sorry for all the bad news. Just to populated of an area for truck parking. If you ever had the time to park in an industrial location and find someone that could pick you up and take you to some of these places, that may work but I know you guys just don't have that time.

Thanks Carl for the reply; it definitely is a problem sometimes. Running regional like I do is kind of limiting my shopping stops. I used to run nation wide had some good stops around the country but don't get that far any more. Once in a great while get down to the Atlanta area just came back this week from there. About once or twice a year head out to the Cleveland OH area also.
