What is more valuable PF Frankies or MS Frankies on the market ?

Thought about starting a new set of Frankies. For purposes of $$$$$$ value on the market now days, "What is more valuable PF Frankies or MS Frankies" ?

It depends on what grade range you're talking about, as well as certified/uncertified, quality... etc. If you're looking to put together a brilliant proof set, the cost won't be too extreme unless you're trying to do a very high grade set (like pr68-pr69). Trying to put a high grade cameo proof set will start costing a lot more money. There are many more date/mintmark combinations in a MS set, but a raw set in ms63-ms65 would not be excessively expensive. A certified MS set in higher grade FBL can start costing a heck of a lot more. So, what type of set are you thinking of putting together? I guess there is no quick easy answer to this question....

I love to hunt the High-Grades from sets. So I guess the real question is if you were going to go for HG PF68-69's or HG MS66-67'S, If EVER completed, would the market prefer PF's or MS's ? Forget the cost that it would take to do it for the moment.

If you wanted to put a full set of MS65FBL Frankies WITHOUT the 53S in FBL it would cost approximately... 5500-5600$ at best I'd say, and of course, with the 53S in MS65FBL, you can expect the price to raise a few thousand. Likely, the proof set wouldn't cost near that, the only difficult coin I believe would be the 1950.

Edit: The coins I'm speaking of would be in PCGS or NGC holders.

Just for info the last one of these in a PCGS holder I saw sold went for $15,000. And that was on eBay It almost made me want to cry.
