    Wow..thats a toughy...initially i would think AT, but it has some characteristics of NT tonining. I think it could go either way.

    AT but I dont really think its bad looking.......i wouldnt buy it for more than melt + $1

    Could be NT but won't slab.

    No big two slab = Not Market Acceptable. which is really what counts when it comes to toning $$$.

    I don't know, but I wouldn't pay a premium for it. SAE's tone pretty readily.

    That's what I call accelerated toning.

    Similar toning could occur naturally, but it wouldn't be quite as vivid and would look much more like NT. The colors don't scream AT for that very reason.

    I doubt it would slab, even thought the chemical reactions are those that do occur naturally.

    I know how to achieve such results in a fairly short period of time, but there is little point to doing it.

    Edit - It wasn't cooked. It's a natural chemical reaction, but it's one that can be accelerated.

    Its the blues that make me say AT -- it's too shimmery/sheeny.

    Here's a PCGS BB Morgan with the same blues-

    Plus it appears to have both envelope & album toning. The rims are blue but the devices are that red/russet color with breaks in the pattern.

    Looks to me to be NT with a little help to make it prettier.

    well when you leave a big 99% silver disk laying on top of your tv for a few years they do tend to tone up alittle.
    `properly` storaged silver of that age shouldnt have hardly any noticable toning.
    with the toned coin orgy going on these days there undoubtedly will be some casualties along the way.
    that may be one of them right there...who knows...

    I'm not completely sure it's NT, but I bet PCGS would slab it. They tend to be very forgiving on these almost pure silver coins.
