Attempt to scam someone using manofcoins' coin- UPDATE
Man, this fool picked the wrong person to send this crap to. This was manofcoins' PCGS 67 1934 Washington, auctioned last night for well over $1200 and this idiot sender would have me believe I got a second chance from Craig when I am so far down the list of bidders that it's pitiful.
I am posting this in case anyone else receives this and does not know that the address within this email, complete with misspelled words, is NOT Craig's. Also, all the old timers here know that ebay and paypal address you by your name and not like THIS:

Excuse me a minute, I've got a point to make elsewhere. I need to check something out.

This may ease your concerns a bit. The bozo who "second0chanced" you probably does not have your email address. Whe some tries to contact a unsuccessful bidder in anyone's auction. eBay automatically forwards their message to you at your email address.
I guess then it's not considered spam but an email from eBay.
eBay needs real security instead of these jelly donut eating
This is but one instance that when (What was his Name? Cobb maybe) emailed everyone and made the mistake of saying he not only welcomed but would answer email, that he got an earful from me. I do not agree that everybody should be able to know everybody else's business.
Perfect example and we all know it's true. Here we go, OK, search by bidder, let's see what Rick or Russ or B00M or manofcoins is bidding on. THIS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED IMHO but worse still, let's see what they won, who they won it from and how much they paid. This can and does lead to some BAD Blood. I, for one, do not think it should be allowed. Man, talk about looking over your shoulder and knowing all your business. That SUX.
Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to report this email.
The message you received is fraudulent and is not from eBay's Second
Chance Offer program. In addition, the sender is attempting to sell an
item outside of the eBay site. To be a valid transaction, your User ID
needs to be listed as the buyer on the ended auction page. Items
purchased outside of the eBay site are not eligible for our protective
services, such as the Standard Purchase Protection Program. This service
is only available for items listed, bought, and sold on eBay in
compliance with our guidelines and policies. For more information on
this policy, please visit the link below:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/rfe-spam-non-ebay-sale.html
We strongly recommend that you ignore this email and all emails that ask
you to complete a transaction offsite. Please make sure that you are the
confirmed winning bidder on the auction before sending money to anyone.
In addition, make certain that you are dealing with the actual seller
and not someone else. eBay only recognizes the seller and the winning
bidder that is on the auction page at the end of the auction as the
rightful participants.
In addition, we do not recommend the use of instant cash wire transfer
services such as Western Union and MoneyGram, and we ask that users
decline sending payment in cases where these are the only methods of
payment offered by the seller. Generally, if payment is sent using an
instant cash wire transfer service and the item is not delivered as
promised, no recourse is available for recovering funds. In most cases,
an escrow service should be used when purchasing high dollar value
items. More information on the benefits and risks of individual payment
methods can be found at:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/pay/payment.html
eBay urges caution when purchasing high-priced items, especially if the
price seems too good to be true.
I appreciate you taking the time to send us this information so that we
were able to look into this.
Regards,
Grace L. E.

Yahoo mail does not mask the sender's IP address. This guy is either really smart and spoofing the IP address, or is really stupid.

Edited to add: Another possibility is a zombie computer, i.e. one that has been compromised.
I don't understand why they both appear to have come from eBay. Can anyone explain this?
