OK, now I'm really feeling bad. $100.00 and $160.00. Dam, where the hell did you guys find these. I'm so close to a perfect PCGS PF set I could spit. Saw this coin since it was 1 of 5 to complete a 1959-Present set in DCAM. The prices you guys are getting is un-godly. Please help me out if you can get what I need that much cheaper.

Nope, Marty buys so many proof sets he makes everything now and then. A Broken clock is correct twice a day and Marty does make DCAM just about everything now and then. I got a steal, I know it just rubbing it in image Cheers

BTW The one I got from Marty was a PF68DCAM, it has a pop of 141 with 34 higher.

I'm just playing. I don't even collect them. If the pop is 5 you couldn't have done too bad. Congrats!!

Thanks "C", CLACK was making me feel like CRAP. However, going to get some comforting from the wife doed not sound like a bad idea. Still, if what he says is true, MadMarty is in for dome serious PM's. I'm so close to the complete set I could die. 2-3 years in the making.

    Sorry

I take that back you got the 68 not the 69. Look at the Heritage archives and see what they went for. Better yet, enjoy the coin and forget the price

No problem "C". It just sucks !!!!!!! if you buy this particular coin for that amount. I have waited at leat 6 months to find that dam thing. If MadMarty has the coins, I will ask. I still don't feel bad for buying it at $260 when the going price is $400+ and the PCGS value is $600.. Would have just like to save a $100 is it. No bad feelings from me.

    $260 for a modern?

    Dang.

You could get a real coin for the same money.

You could buy a 1971 proof set and save yourself $250. Plus you would get the dollar through the cent.

I've always collected classics but I have to wonder when a modern isn't modern anymore. Except for us old guys the 1960's was before most of the posters here was born. I think we might have to rethink the 1964 cutoff date. 40 years old just might be enough to move out of the "modern" class.
