1962 blue nickle -question about colouring.

I am curious about the colouring that everyone has been describing on the modern 5c piece. Is there a premium for colouring as well as the strike?

Take a look and let me know what you think, it was difficult to photo as the colouring is very deep and dark.

I don't think there's really a premium for that degree of color.

I'd beg to differ

. I've got a VERY deep purple proof I just recieved in the mail today with light blue, and it's still in the mint cello.

My Dansco has blue and gold toned Jeffies which are all from original mint sets.

The monochrome toners bring a little premium, but not much. It's the multicolored ones that bring a nice return. Case in point:

I sold the set that was in for $51.

The really deep blue and purple ones you see are all AT not true, not even close.

Is there a premium for colouring there's a fools premium since the toning is rather common.

I just eBayed a group of blue and lavender gem Jeffs. I know for a fact they had spent 20+
years in the old hard PVD type flips.
