Going to a local show in the next hour or so. Looking to "Make Some" good Lincoln Cents. Need some advise on which to purchase. Tube Rolls or OBW rolls? What has been your luck with each?

Also what decade of cents are you doing?
A lot depends on that.
Please be more specific.

I will indeed be sure to contact you if they produce items of interest. I think I have made it through about $7 face so far. I'm prioritizing that into three other groups that are of similar interest, and give them all roughly equal time.

Therock: rolls of coins seem to be coming to shows less and less. Dealers find then too bulky to bring.

these will be better than typical rolls because they were selected from a
larger quantity. You probably have a little better chance of finding varieties
in the OBW's and gems in the tubes.
These rolls are for the most part extremely cheap. There are several reasons
the rolls are so inexpensive; primarily it's because of little demand but there
is a lot of work finding better coins this way. Even finding common varieties
and gems is very time consuming if you're looking for specific ones. Most of
the rolls you'll actually see are very common ones. You won't see rolls of clads
except for a few half dollars or dollars.
If you're seeking varieties going around to the shops is the best bet. If you
seek gems you'll usually be better off looking at the mint sets for most dates.
And if you want clad you'll find little alternative to checking mint sets.
The only sealed mint sets after 1964 are in the original shipping package and
are getting pretty unusual to find this way. While many mint sets have been
cherry picked already, the majority of those on the wholesale market have not
been. If you keep up with the dealers then you'll see some nice original sets.
