So when will this one hit the papers? How much are the dealers paying for them? Has PCGS assigned it a coin number yet? What will be the story of these coins at Long Beach? Is it too late to get this auctioneer on a red-eye flight to sign holders on the bourse?

    "In my twenty years I've never seen anything like this." He must have just started looking at coins then, because just about every version of the Statehood quarter has a die crack (not every quarter, but each series).
    A 1943 copper Lincoln will still only buy a gumball out of the machine, but you can purchase the machine and the store with that same cent.
