Pricing Help on French 1 FRANC and 50 Centimes

Okay gang all I have is a 2004 Krause and I just hit a question.
I have several (7) KM 894.1 1947 50 centimes in vf-bu condition. Is the price listed even close to real?
I am putting together my auctions for FleaBay next week (if all goes well) and was setting up a WWII
war years grouping in KM# 885a.1 French 1 FRANC. These are all aluminum pieces and are quite common or so I thought. What is up with the 1943's? Krause lists a mintage of only 4,400 pcs is that right? And the pricing?
I have about thirty pcs of the 1943's going from VF to BU - please tell me the pricing is wrong... Krause lists them starting at $1,200 F, up to $4,000 in Unc. I would appreciate it if Anyone who can shed some light on this. I really can't believe the coin fairy just boinked me when I wasn't looking.
Thanks
Douglas

As for the one franc, my Krause says the same as yours. This is interesting!

We are talking about 885a.1, not 902.1, right?

The 50c KM-894.1 is aluminum bronze while the KM-894.1a is aluminum.

The 50 Centimes were struck in aluminum-bronze before WWII and in aluminum during the war. The only exception to this is the 1947 date, which comes in both versions. The expensive one is the aluminum-bronze, KM894.1 whereas the common one is the aluminum, KM894.1a and it starts at $0.15 in Fine.
As far as the 1 Franc goes, the aluminum-bronze type of the 1930s was struck in aluminum during the war and indeed the 1943 date without mintmark (KM885a.1) is rare with 4 400 pcs struck. However, the Vichy government struck aluminum 1 Franc coins with an axe and those are listed under KM902. There the 1943 date is quite common and starts at $0.10 (both thick and thin flan
I think this goes to show that the new Krause format sucks.

I got lots of the 1943 aluminum axes, didn't think much about the aluminum ladies, I thought they were a simple die variation. I am gonna have to look at them closer when I get home tonite.
