OK, lets all guess at what this Morgan will sell for?

A forum member has this beautiful Morgan for sale on eBay. Lets guess at the final selling price. My guess is $450 and change.

Disclaimer: I do not know the seller or have I ever bid on any of his auctions. Some board members know my eBay ID and will rat on me if I do.

This Morgan has three, strong things going for it:
First, it is a GEM. Collectors like to see the grade of MS65, at least, on these neat toners.
Secondly, it's a PL. Add ProofLike surfaces to color like that and the coin's a winner. And what color! The right colors, in the right order.
Third, The Seller is deeply trusted, his terms are fair and he'll solicit more bids because of it. The Morgan being in in a first generation PCGS holder is a bonus too.
That's why I went with $700.00 as my guess.

Could very well be more.

Heh, if I was going to bid I sure wouldn't with this thread going on here drawing more attention.
Having said that, I know someone that asked the seller what seemed like a simple question and no answer.

No answer means no bid. And he would have bid very strong.

Thanks, but that wasn't a snipe, there were 12 seconds left. I generally classify snipes as 8 seconds or less. I bid manually.

And someone really dropped the ball on this one, you may be shocked to know what my proxy was. It was nowhere near the winning bid.

That's a beautiful gem Morgan with great original bag toning with the bonus of an old PCGS holder. I just got a very similar colored Morgan PCGS rattler with an 1882-S date for $417, but that's a little nicer coin.
