  That's not even a real silver round. It isn't solid silver. Only a mere 100 mil. 1 mil is one thousandth of an inch. So 100 mil is 0.10 inch silver thickness (depth). The rest is regular nonprecious alloys.

  I dont collect morgans but it says 100 mil? Thats Plated isnt it? Whats it doing in a GSA holder? Or am I getting those mixed up? Learn me a bit here

  OK. To an extent, I say, yes, this person is a scammer. However, why is the seller to blame? If you're going to spend $350 on a "proof" Morgan, you owe it to yourself to do some homework.
  
  1. The packaging looks deceptively like a GSA Morgan. But still, it says "100 Mil Proof," not "Silver Dollar" or "Uncirculated Silver Dollar." I don't even collect these (I have 0 GSA Morgans) and I know that.
  
  2. The seller makes no representation about the coin. Just says "not shown or shopped." Of course not. It's worth $10. Why shop it?
  
  3. What's that saying about a money, a fool, and something else? Whatever...
  
  The buyer was greedy, thought they were getting a steal. Isn't there another saying about Santa Claus in numismatics?
  
  All that said, the red flag of a private auction is enough for me not to bid.
