Is this a test to see how David Lawrence Internet auctions are doing?

I see there are a few coins that people bought in the Richmond collection that are now up at heritage. Guess we can see if David Lawrence gets the same prices as heritage. This example is in an Exclusively Internet auction and the reserve is the same as the sale price at DL

Well the DL pic is definitely nicer than the Heritage pic [no surprise there] so based on that alone it would be hard to draw a decent conclusion. Also timimg is another factor.

Already more at Heritage with 13 hours remaining. $2,600 at DLRC and now at $3,000 on Heritage.

Don't think someone bid $3K at heritage. It is just the reserve.

There is also the factor, FWIW, the coin now has the provenance of having been in the Richmond sale.

some of the richmond coins got crossed to pcgs and also some got upgraded at ngc/pcgs

The David Lawrence and Richmond Collection had some great coins. Your example is good homework, but should not be surprising to see on a regular basis. The Heritage price has to hit the reserve first for it to sell. Whoever wants it now, could have bought it back in November...
