He knows... he just KNOWS I want it!

dthigpen · December 21, 2004 12:47PM

So should I even bother trying to bid on it?

K6AZ · December 21, 2004 12:52PM

Well, are you going to cough up the bucks to buy this POP 1?

Eric, what makes you think it's a POP ONE?

K6AZ · December 21, 2004 1:01PM

I don't know Pat, you telling me that there is more than one PO01 22 Peace Dollar?

braddick · December 21, 2004 1:03PM

I believe there is. It's possible the other one is a 1923, but I lean toward remembering it as a 1922.
Of course there is no way of knowing as PCGS doesn't keep track of POPS on any coin less than VG.

K6AZ · December 21, 2004 1:06PM

OK, but the question still remains. You gonna cough up $250 for this atrocity?

braddick · December 21, 2004 1:12PM

Short answer: no.

Long answer: Hell NO!

Maybe you should crack the slab and resubmit it. You might score with an AG-03. lol
I do like the wall paper of his auction though.
