Welcome to the Forum! Thanks for taking the time to look at my set and thanks for the compliment. I betcha you like coins with a little color. There are other sets in the Washington Registry that are far better than mine but not everybody has the means or wants to take the time to photograph their set. It's nice to hear from people like you every now and then. Makes it all worth while. Thank you!
I've looked at this set also. There are some georgous coins there. I remeber earlier this year when he offered a bunch on the Buy, Sell, Trade board and by the time I decided to purchase a couple they were all gone and it wasn't that long after they were posted. Very nice set.
Very nice set of Washington Quarters. Eye candy for those that enjoy toned coins with luster. I'm working on a set but it's no where near complete. Here are a couple of my coins:
The longer I live the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice is it possible for an empire to rise without His aid? Benjamin Franklin
Kudos to Rick Nehls. I can vouch for his beautiful coins. I have both admired the pictures along with having bought some from him, seeing them up close and personal. I have spent many an hour admiring not only Rick's coins but Craig's, Don's and many more.
In fact, it was Rick and Craig that taught me to appreciate color. I must say though that I like beautiful coins both with color and White such as Craig Ratthcamp's set! Man, you need sunglasses to look at those beauties.
For me to be within this group is an honor. I hope to one day learn to post pix of my own, both in the set(s) and here on the Boards.
Holy smoke ! It's been nearly 8 years since i had a puff of that stuff................it certianly caused me to buy many a coin i shouldn't of ! But glad you fellers can pass the pipe !! And may i stress again : those colored quarters are a natural high gave me a buzz as good as any i ever had . Some sets might be higher grades then AKricks but as far as i can see - his blows them away.
