Yeah, sorta of knew that was going to happen after the abnormally high jump yesterday (Will still likely close up for the week).

Im still happy with the price of gold and silver. One can go back a year or two on these boards and see that the gold bashers fought the price all the way to 450. Each step of the way they said it would never reach the next level. And 450.00, why a year ago if one said it would reach 450 this year, he would have been flogged with chains by some here. I dont know where it will go, I just know that you should never fight a rising market. And one day does not make a market.

It is more a question of how much further the dollar will fall, as US gold increases are only tracking the fall of the dollar. If the USD falls 10% against the Euro, then gold will be at $500 in USD.

The gold dollar correlation is a correct anaylsis I believe. And I also believe that as long as our President pursues his policy of foreign intervention, and also seeks to punish France and Germany for not helping us by weakening the USD, which hurts German and French companies and helps ours, at least in the short term, then gold has a run of at least four years left. I think we will see 800 dollar gold before we will see 300 dollar gold.

We will never again see sub-$300 gold. That's right I said Never. If I'm not correct about this prediction then I will admit i was wrong

I believe you Baley. Today's action in the dollar was some "buying" via intended manipulation/intervention....possibly by our FED and their favorite host financial house. There was no intention to actually buy dollars up, just to help boost the market. In any case it was on the weak side considering they barely propped up the dollar and gold fell only a few dollars. Let's see what the next few weeks (or tomorrow) brings. This is the best the interventionists can do?
