    I agree with Jimi, looks like a VF35 to me. Sometimes a scanner can accentuate marks and spots, so I suspect the coin isn't really deserving of being netted down, but I can't say for sure.

    Looks to be original too.

    My initial thought was F15, very close to VF20.

    Technically a scuffy VF, I guess.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

    VF-30 details, maybe VF-35, and cleaned.
  • my bet is a full on VF, possibly an ancient cleaning, marks are consistent for the grade. Definitelty not a "choice"VF, but I dont think the hits will force it to net........ IMHO, especially with circ grades, you're going to find marks, scratches, etc........ The marks are signs of circulation, proof that the coin has served its purpose..... granted some marks can be visually disturbing which affects the eye appeal of a coin, but unless the marks are horrendous, why net grade it?
