There is a dealer in the S.F. Bay Area that I have purchased from. He showed me a 1917 Lincoln DDO that he has. He acquired it raw as part of a bulk purchase. Sometime after buying the bulk lot he was looking through the individual coins. He looked at the cent and saw that is was a DDO. He sent it in for grading [to either PCGS or NGC, I do not remember which].

It came back MS67. The highest graded I believe.

He let me look at it. Yum, Yum is all that I can say.

I went through a roll of 1917 cents this morning...................no double dies.......as usual. It is a rare coin. There's info in the Cherrypicker's guide.

I lived within walking distance of the dealer SanctionII mentioned. I've also seen his ms67 1917 DDO!
