so what does this sellers coins look like when you get them in hand?

There is a seller on ebay who has obviously, imho, enhanced photos........my question is, what do they look like in hand.

I have passed on bidding on this sellers items in the past because his pictures look (to me) to be played with. No way to know what the coin would look like in hand based on that picture.

I have never bought from him...but he has bought from me. I BLOCKED him as a bidder. It took him 35 days tp pay me $42 dollars...and we live in the same county in FL.

Interesting that he mentions nowhere in the auction that the coin is NTC graded.

The image shows a coin in an NTC slab. So, either that's not the coin the winner will receive, he cracked it out, or he's lying.

That seller once had a coin that was listed as MS68 and I noticed that he purchased a similar coin that was extremely nice but with heavily altered surfaces to make it look ultra-high grade. The seller he bought it from pointed this out clearly in the auction. I did some scrutinizing and found it to be the exact same coin. I bought the coin and reported it to ebay. He even had the nerve to report me as a Non-Paying Bidder.

Needless to say that I had it cleared from my record. I never saw him try to sell the coin again but I sure wouldn't knowingly do business with this guy again.

I can understand screwing people once or twice, but to do it over and over, I just don't get it.

Wouldn't cracking out a business strike and deliberately listing it as a proof coin, (not to mention jacking the grade way up), be considered fraud?
