You're only confused if you trust the grade and the claimed value of the coin. Especially since there are no good close-up pictures.

    UMM,PCGS POP of ZERO !

Worth about 15 bucks as a 66 in a PCGS holder (which it may or may not make)

Just my rant DU'JOUR about shyster sellers and stoopid buyers !

I've got like four or five of this high grade date laying around raw, they are not worth that kind of money and they can't grade to save they're lives.

The shipping is worth more than the coin!

Ive been watching this guy for a week. He puts out a lot of coins on ebay and is making a lot of sales.
    Any thoughts on his operations?

There's a good reason PCGS has only 13 in 67RD, none higher: the dies sucked! Really mushy strike on the obverse is the general rule - What bowtie? What vest? Is Lincoln wearing a shower cap? etc., etc......

Buy it, crack it, submit it, and don't hope for anything higher than a 66 (if that).

    Just MHO.

Mike is of course quite right about this coin and I've see a lot of coins in PCI gold labels.I wouldn't trust their grading abilities enough to pay more than $10 for it.

You buy the coin, not the hype or the marketing or the plastic it may come in.
it is all about the coin itself.
You gotta know what your looking at and for what, and what its real value would be.

A case in point.I have a 1909-S/Horizontal S in a old green label PCGS holder that is slabbed as a 1909-S MS63 RB.
