Well he tried to claim that only a couple people filed fraud complaints. All eleven who responded to my query filed, so he is lying and not telling the truth. Over on the open forum he claimed 40% of the coins were silver, which is also untrue. Out of 480 coins that we know about, only 21 were silver, or about 4%. I guess he will come back and claim it was "luck of the draw".

I never noticed this part of his auction before:

BONUS #1: For each 100 coins bought, get 5 extra coins FREE!
BONUS #2: Buy 1,000 coins and get 100 extra coins FREE!

Note: you must specifically mention these offers in your post-auction email to me before making payment.

Yes Sam is running a BS auction and it was nice of ebay to do something for once. image

However, Sam does state that it is like a lottery, so unless you (meaning the bidder) are willing to gamble, you shouldn't be bidding. So for those complaining, just think of the last time you bought $10+ in lotto tickets and won nothing. It's how the game works.

On the flip side, You're right for complaining because sellers should be using ebay to conduct a lottery.

The difference here is that in a lottery someone does get the big prize. There was no big prize in these auctions. That is fraud, pure and simple.

I notice that there isn't a picture of any of the modern coins yet he guarantees nothing new than 1964. How many actual type coins like the ones pictured do you think are going to be in the coins picked??
