Now your sucking-up! I believe I have a few BU silver coins from the early 20th Century tucked away.

Here's a nice cheap German coin that originally came from the Dead King.

And here's one he sold me as a "Saxony 1/3 thaler", but I caught him up in a misattribution! image

(It does look like a Saxony 1/3 thaler, though- I took his attribution at face value until I decided to list it and looked it up. He was close.)

It would've been worth twice as much if it were what he'd said it was, but for the price he gave me it was still a fair deal. I'll just horn in on his SSP thread with a little SSP of my own, and we'll be even. image

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

Looks like I am in the middle of Misattribution-gate! image

In all seriousness Rob, if you want a refund, even though it has been several months please let me know and I'll buy the coin back for what you paid and pay your shipping.

Just so you know, your Commerce and Peace "Barber" medal was actually designed by Dupré in the 1790s and copied by Barber later. Also it is a modern U.S. mint product:

However, the current bid is quite the deal considering the Mint's price for just one. image
