What to put this in????

I just received my:

1819 Swiss 1 Rappen Canton Bern

This coin is smaller than a US Cent. Does anyone know what size it is and/or closest coin size?

I have been thinking about getting some Whitman 2X2 air-tight holders for my other Bear coins.

Will this fit into a 1/10 gold eagle holder?

Any help would be appreciated.

An Air-Tite holder is probably your best bet.

Does Air-Tite make 2 X 2 holders or just round?

The 2 X 2's would fit nicely in my new velvet lined boxes (each holds 24 of these).

Just round, but they have stockcards with a cutout so that you can put the airtite in the center and slide the card/holder into a slotted box. They also offer display boxes with varying numbers of cutouts to sizes you specify, so you can put several coins together.

I have an 1811 rappen that is just slightly smaller than a US dime so a 1/10th eagle size may work.

Thanks everyone for your help.

I have decided to go with a Whitman 2x2 with ring (black) holder for my Bear coins. JP's Corner have decent prices on these and I need enough to get the 5 cent discount on some (hoping they will do a mix/match discount on the others).

I have seen some of the German coins and other Swiss coins. They have either been too low grade or too high dollar. I am going to have to come to a "middle ground" on these.

I think I will go with PCGS graded (probably 63's) on the US coins. They will run over $100 each so I may get them later (May change my mind on this).

You can mix the sizes to get your discount. That's what I do. Replace the ones I've used and buy the sizes I need till I hit the magic number.

I just use the dime size 2X2 for my smallest coins.
