Ebay Fraud Alert

Watch out for auctions by chad_j696 . The 1857 and 1876 half dollars he is running are actually mine. I also have the auctions running currently on eBay.

He's got 2 bidders on that one coin. Might be a good idea to E-Mail them before they burned.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

This guy's pretty stupid trying to pull the scam while your auctions are still running. It's a good thing a lot of these slimeballs are morons. It makes them easier to spot.

Look at the latest bidder in one of the bogus auctions: ebay bidder scumnuker, a zero-feedbacker in for $2k.

Edit: woops, scumnuker is the high bidder in both auctions.

Double edit: dammit, this has already been noted.

I love it. Hey, while you're at it scumnuker, there's a 1927 SLQ with a full head that you should put in a real aggressive bid on...

I believe scumnuker is a cape-wearing super hero that cruises around eBay placing high bids on fraudulent auctions to prevent unknowing bidders from getting taken by scum.

The person to worry about in these auctions is the seller, not the bidder.

With a name like "scumnuker," I'm willing to bet it's a numismatic Spider Man looking to derail the hopes of eBay frauds. It's much like the person called "warning_sells_fakes" I saw not long ago in an auction from that woman in Brookfield, Ohio last month.

I cannot believe this guy. WOW, I would love to see the look in this guys face to see that he was found out as a fraud. And the scumnuker bidder name. Come on, does he really think that we are all that stupid. I am going to write him and ask some leading questions. This could be lots of fun if we all load up his in box. OR would that be stooping to his level?????? Sounds like fun though.

What Wayne said. Read all the posts not just the first one!
    Scumnuker is my hero!

How much bucks has ScumNuker saved the unsuspecting buyer to date? Any ventures?

Well, it looks like eBay pulled the plug on this scammer -- at least this particular disposable zero-feedback account, anyway. He no longer has any items for sale. image
