Interesting sale.
How's $40.00 shipping on top of what's probably a huge reserve???

hmm...not an expert but I think that MS-66 grade is probably alittle high, its not a very well known respected grading service.

Beyond laughable into pathetic.

XpipedreamR · August 5, 2004 10:12AM

Seems like a good seller. I'd hit the BIN.

isnt this a clear violation of the new listing policy for coins ?
and an ACG slab at that !

Myqqy · August 5, 2004 10:18AM

I know that it's a "very serious" coin, but wow......... I'm just wondering what his reserve is......

ibzman350 · August 5, 2004 10:19AM

I'm seeing AGS

Herb

ziggy29 · August 5, 2004 10:20AM

Oh, come on, it's in an AGS slab! It's worth every penn...err, *cent* of the $35,000 claim! And it would cost $40 to insure a coin this valuable in shipment...

rhedden · August 6, 2004 3:51AM

Um....., could he be using shill bidders?

DesertRat · August 6, 2004 3:56AM

The bid is at $525 and it says Reserve has been met.

Numismanic · August 6, 2004 3:56AM

Um....., could he be using shill bidders?

Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing. Multiple bids from a zero feedback buyer.

rottnrog · August 6, 2004 3:59AM

$584.27!!!!

earlwbollinger · August 6, 2004 4:08AM

I suspect that if he doesn't get enough for it, he'll simply ignore the buyer like in the past.
But it's hard to tell with the suspicious bidders there.
Likely someone is going to get reamed real good.

relayer · August 6, 2004 4:19AM

It will be the battle of the (0) vs. the (1) bidders to see who can get ripped off the most.

After all, it is a $35,000 coin and they are buying it cheap and will make at least a good $30,000 profit on it.
