    very interesting! i didnt know such tokens existed! BTW, there is supposedly a token struck for use in Massachuseetts around 1700. Its documented but no one has ever found one of them.

    There has been a lot of discussion amongst members of the Canadian Association of Token Collectors (CATC). The consensus is that it is a communion token from Scotland and not a Canadian issue.

    A neat story. Unfortunately, not exactly all factual.
