And because I've just been working on trying to get my color pictures to look better. How's this one look? I feel it to be accurate to the colors of the coin, but, I'd like to hear what you peoples think. Thanks...

Nice coins George - good pics. You need to get a little further from the subject and let more light in - sometimes I get too close also and wind up casting a shadow over the coin.

Attractively toned Mercs are actually fairly hard to find. I have no clue how the first toned, though I suspect an album from the toning pattern. The second one was almost definately toned from an older album. And it's gorgeous. I've seen a couple others with similar color for sale... one was in an (overgraded) ICG MS68 holder, with gorgeous toning just like this one... but it was being sold for $500... of course... it was for sale by a toned coin dealer, so you can always expect outrageous premiums...

The picture in the auction didn't quite show it correctly, IMO...
