Wohooo........my first Peace dollar.

Yesss!! I finally found a Peace dollar at work. It's a 23D, in pretty good shape for being a circ. find. The only real "flaw" (outside of PEACE being a little worn), is that some moron put some kind of decal on the back. I could probably try and scrape it off with my fingernail, but would rather not. Is there some kind of solvent I could use that wouldn't act as a cleaner and ruin what value the coin has?

What kind of decal is it? Is it an advertisement of some kind? No matter what the decal is, that is a great find.

I know that some people look for certain advertising on coins. What does the sticker say?

My aunt gave me my first peace dollar when I was a kid. I still have it. It's a circulated 1935.

Goo gone should take it off and it won't hurt a circulated coin at all.

The decal is some kinda red starburst thinggie. About a 3rd is already worn off.........
