The half cent was used as a gear. Just a guess.

The Lincoln cent looks indeed broadstruck, and the half cent looks like a special sort of a roman coin. Read an article about that once, will try to find it.

the half cent could be a gear or more likely, some kind of rolling crimper/design imprinter for pies and raviolis and such.
you've got a George III... what, shilling at the bottom? 1787?
the 1775 looks like a South American 1 real or half real?
