  This ain't fantastic by the usual standards, but it's pretty fantastic if you consider it was buried in the ground for a century and resurfaced only about twenty hours ago. I know I've posted it several times, but hey, it is the Dig O' The Day, after all!
  
  It's fantastic for a ground find- usually they're pretty crusty.
  
  
  
  
  
  This one definitely was fantastic, at least in my estimation, and is probably my favorite Indian cent I've owned, though not the highest-graded or most valuable. It was in an ANACS PR62 RB holder. I miss it more than I do the PCGS MS65 RD coin I once had.

  Shamika- you have GOT to be kidding. The Matron Head cent? Gaaaaack! I like the coins, but not from a artistic/design standpoint!

  Believe me, if I start digging Matron Head cents, my tune might change!
