Today's Coin Shop Finds! Toned Morgan and Bust Cent!

Went to my shop today--haven't been there in a long time, and there really wasn't much... but I found these

First, my oldest American coin--I've wanted a 1700s large cent for years

I like this one!

Secondly, for the tone-lover in me... I grade it MS63 and think I underpaid for the color

The lustre is out of this world

It's quite possible--I wouldn't have any problem buying this coin in a 64 holder, and I do think it's a contender for the star. Maybe I should send it in...

I like the indentation on the reverse of that Large Cent. It gives it charecter. I think the toning on the Morgan lays well on it. Pretty good choice and about the only thing I see holding it back from a MS64 is the area around the tip of the eagles` left wing.

That's way exaggerated by the picture--hardly visable in person...
