Why no Walker Book?

The Walker half dollar is sometimes called the most beautiful US coin. Since Bruce Fox's work on the Walker has been discontinued, I wonder why no numismatist has undertaken a date by date analysis of the series for both circulated and uncirculated grades. The Fox book deals basically with MS grades, and does little or nothing for any circulated grades. I feel that a book similar to David Lange's on the Lincoln cent and Buffalo nickel series' is sorely needed.

Bruce Fox's book WAS similar to the Lange books. In fact, it came out about the same time as Lange's Merc and Buff books and from the same publisher. I also think Fox's book was better than both...IMO.

I would love to have a fully comprehensive book on Walking Liberty Half Dollars. I also own the Fox book which came out eleven years ago.

I agree, what don't you like about the Lange books.
