    It's been posted several times here, on the Open Forum, and on the Liteside.

    Sounds like the "I found a 1943 copper penny in the change jar on top of the refrigerator but accidentally spent it" tale.

    Or the one about how so-and-so's uncle got a 1913 Libnick out of change in the 1950's.

    Yeah. Riiiight.

    I wonder WTF they are talkin' about, anyway. The ZAR didn't strike sovereigns, and the SA sovereigns were all post-Boer-war (i.e. 1900's), right? And they didn't have Kruger on 'em.

    If she didnt have her glasses on, how does she know what she actually put into the meter??? Anyway, if you slightly alter some of the specifics of the story, it has some plausible possibilities---perhaps it was a Kruger Pond of the 1890s.
