What should i do?

Should i go to the $500 in halves. ( is there enough of an ability of findign good stuff or should i stick to my 1 centers?)

i want something that can yeild for me something that can reflect my time and patience.

100 in pennies can yeild 40 or 50 wheats. but is it the halves worth my time effort and waiting on them to come in. what are your feelings .

should i stick to pennies or should i move to halves and pennies.

my feeligns is i like both but what might bring the best finds. what should i be hoping for in the half boxes?

All these hours could be spent researching an undervalued stock, a starter investment property, or, to keep this coin-related, a single quality coin from a shop or show. I can understand why you're frustrated at looking through hordes of bank rolls for a handful of circulated wheat cents -- it's a mind-numbing task that will surely kill your enjoyment of this hobby.

Seriously, if you were this meticulous with picking one or two winning stocks in your industry, or in buying an undervalued or foreclosed property -- or anything else except sifting aimlessly through circulated bank junk -- you could do very well for yourself, and then you could buy the PQ coins.

oh dont get me wrong i love looking though rolls to find wheats its fun and keeps me very entertained. but id hate to get 500 in halves and find nothing at all. . at least with bank rolled pennies i know ill get some wheats. think there is enough silver or hard to find coins in halves to make it worth the effort. ( like with my finds with wheats)?

im not fustrated just wondering if its worth getting the halves and i was wondering on avg is the older coins in there often enough to make it worth my time. if i see 3 silver coins in 500$ worth then no. but if its like 20 or 25 it might be . and if its mor ethan 25 then it is. i know with wheats $25 worth is about 15 to 25 wheats sometimes more. but never less

You might try getting a $100. box of Jeffs I have pulled up to 300 out of one box from 1938 to 1961 pluss a few buffs.

Honestly, you're more likely to "make" money off the halves than the cents. A $500 bag will almost always yeild 5-30 40% silver halves, and will usually give up one or two 90% ones. The most 90% ones that I've pulled out of a bag was 19.

Generic wheats are worth about $.04 each, so if you want to talk about bang for the... time... go with the halves.
