Just because it wasn't listed in the correct catagory doesn't mean it might have gone for more money. Anyone using eBays search could have easily found it with a few key words ( Silver, Dollar, Encyclopedia) The seller even listed the authors name in the description. A detailed search of titles and descriptions would have also found it.
It's quite possible that at this given time no one else was really looking for it ?
Camaro--all of my coin searches are in their respective categories... I'd bet most people do that, as opposed to open searches that scan more areas of eBay... usually when this happens, the price is much lower.
At the same time I bid on this book, there were two other listings - listed where they should have been listed - one for $50.00 and the other for $40.00.
