does die polishing affect the overall grade?

I saw the post about the merc and I have a frankie with the same type marks. Does this have much/any affect on the grade?

    Die polish affects the grade only when it is so severe it's destracting. Since it's mint-made, it won't really take away, but there are times when it can be bad enough that it obliterates design elements or just takes your eye away from them--you may then lose a point or two for eye appeal reasons.
