I flew through my 1,000th post without noticing. Ah well, better late than never. To celebrate this monumental achievement, let's have a contest!! Just guess what I paid for my 1909-P VDB in a PCGS MS66RD holder. I bought it in June of 2003. Your guess should not include S/H/I or sales taxes in Wisconsin. First guess closest to the price wins a nice prize!! I'll announce the prize at the end of the contest, but the prize will contain silver!!

Thanks to all who entered! I paid $152.50 for the 09-VDB. The first closest guess was by Gonfunko ($150 at 7:28 am on 7/10.) Casey guessed $155 but at 10:40 am, also on 7/10). Congratulations to gonfonko!! The prize is a very nice 1964 Proof Set - Sorry, but no AH! I know it's not much, but heck, it's just a giveaway!
