*** New 1892-S PCGS XF40***

The newest addition to my collection. Rest assured, I will take new images every couple of days and continously bring this thread to the top. And when I'm tired of it, I will move on to my new PCGS VF30 1903-S.

  • Have you considered shooting under a yellow or blacklight bulb and turing up the saturation till the color bleeds all over the photo?

  • I'm serious Stman. image Just trying to pass on tips I learned from EBay toned coin sellers. Try shooting the coin at a 25 to 45 degree angle as well.
  • Eric's picture looks too...what's the word...silvery!

What the hell do you expect it to look like? It's a circulated silver dollar for cryin' out loud. image
  • And the pic is too...sharp...try the blur feature as well.

Now you wouldn't be suggesting that some people play with their images would you? image

I think I see some wear on the coin sir. Not sure if you noticed that.

that's the way a morgan's supposed to look. a vastly underrated series in circulated grades! i honestly prefer my morgan set in high circ'd grades then blast white super-duper shiny dmpl.

Bought it from Steve Estes along with a VF30 03-S. I got tired of looking at that hole in my set. It will do until I find an AU that I like.

Wow..I THINK I sold that to Steve about a year ago. The name definately rings a bell.

It just occured to me. I didn't sell it to Steve. I sold it to the person from whom he purchased it. After I sold it raw, 4 weeks later it was on eBay in a PCGS holder.image

I believe that Jack Lee had a 68 in his set. DLRC had a 67 up about 2-3 months ago.

It's been touched by human hands so it might have some fingerprints on it as well.
Is that black stuff by the eagle's butt eagle dookie?

Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
