NTC, NCS, NGC confusion...

I heard my local dealer say the other day that NTC and NGC were related to one another, and I though that was wrong. I know NCS is related and said so, but he adimately exclaimed that someone (don't remember who) who owned NGC also owned NTC. I don't think that's true, but thought I would bring it up here, cause I know I will get the right answer here.

He's wrong. NTC was founded by Kevin McNerney, and has no relationship to NGC at all.

Edited to add: He may be confused since McNerney (dba Island Rarities) is also in Florida - Boca Raton.

Thanks guys, I was sure of that but thought I would front it here just in case.

I knew something was especially odd when he said something about NTC (Numistrust) being a conservancy service. I think he has NTC and NCS confused with one another.

NTC has the same relationship to NGC as Lucifer does to Saint Peter. image
