Buffalo Nickels are super hot, especially the varieties. High grade Lincolns with a mint marks to 1909-1931 are hot.

Why are Liberty Proof Nickels (which have low mintages) un-hot?

This really doesn't seem to apply to uncirculated clad Washingtons. The one or
two dealers who have BU rolls have to raise their prices almost weekly to stay
ahead of the demand. There is a huge amount of activity in this area even where
    it's not affecting prices.

Hot: Key and semi-key circulated coins in PCGS slabs in XF and especially AU. White high-end common date PCGS MS65 Peace Dollars. Problem free, uncleaned medium to lightly toned circulated older silver coins.

Not: Common date modern commemoratives. Modern commemoratives graded less than MS69 or PR69.

Roosevelt dimes are in the neutral hopefully get cold so prices fall. I know CC Morgans are hot(sadly I only bought one). I also hear that circulated mid-grade pre 1830 coins are also hot.

Hot: Pop top early date proof and SMS Kennedys are sizzling right now. Some have literally doubled from last year. Pop top mint state Kennedys from any year are also warming up.

Dead: The rest of the series.

    It's an interesting bifurcation.

    What's not:

Half Cents other than 93's and high Condition Census coins.

Same with Large Cents, especially mid and later dates.

Wash quarters are a little soft

Not from where I've been sitting, especially the key dates. JMO

I was looking at a 32D on the Heritage website graded PCGS AU58. The current bid is around 400, but sure to go much higher as it is a nice looking coin. the last PCGS AU58 sold on Heritage in May for over 1000 dollars.

And this 42S PCGS MS66 just closed on ebay. Check the price on this one. A lot higher than I've seen recently.
