Good news And Bad News*****UPDATE*****

Hello Folks,

Good News: My Brother came over today with his son(12) for a Fathers Day Bar-B-Q. I was sitting in my room where all my coins are and he comes storming in to what new stuff I got. I have about 6-7 rolls of wheat pennies that sit on the top tier of my desk. He points up at those and asks can I see those? So I gettem down and he starts going through them. They are my circulated extras that I have that I keep in plastic coin tubes. " Man, these are really old he says". "Can I have a roll?" Instead of leaving them in the coin tube I ran him over to a Flea market that sells coin folders for cheap. He picked up a state quarter album , a lincoln set album and couple rolls of circ. wheaties. Looks like another coin collector is on the rise.
While I was at the Flea Market I picked up a Nice Morgan Dollar for Dad. It's an 1878 grades about AU. Dad Loves Walking Libs and Morgan Dollars.

Bad News: Looking on the Front page of the paper today and I saw the local Coin Shop was robbed of $2400 worth of coins. the list is as follows:

1894 Morgan -$950
Merc Dime 42/41 - $475
1902 Barber Half
1936 Bridgeport Comm Half
1846 Seated Half
1870 2-cent piece
1807 Quarter
1916-S Walker Half

They say the theft happened while the owner was busy with customers.

Doesn't surprise me that this would happen to him though. I quit shopping there due to some comments he had said to me when I went in to look at a Franklin Half. those comments can be found here:

What comes around goes around I say.
